A native New Yorker, Terri Frohman Founded Handmade in Brooklyn Collective Inc. in 2016, a membership-based network for female entrepreneurs who specialize in artistic and creative emerging businesses/brands.
Before starting HMB, a SUNY New Paltz Art Education Undergraduate & NYU Graduate in Fine Art, Terri was an Art Educator for over a decade serving in many leadership capacities. She represented the city and state board for the Arts Education Association, taught grades K-12, led educational workshops and initiated a variety mentor programing that supported teachers navigating the life and profession of an educator.
In 2014, she began a new professional chapter as a full-time artist participating in residencies such as Gowanus Print Lab, Con Artist in the Lower East Side and exhibiting artworks in solo and group art shows.
Terri Frohman has always been passionate about bringing people together and organizing strong communities. Currently living and working in Park Slope, Brooklyn,her own community of female freelancers has been a source of inspiration.
HMB is the artistic and professional sisterhood she's always wanted and hopes to provide as much support for the growing percentage of female business owners in her own city.
